Currently CIBC has low engagement with third party offers. Digital saw this gap and envisioned a future vision of a destination for clients to discover exclusive offers from both third-party partner offers and CIBC all within one space.

What is the problem we’re solving?
Today offers are presented to clients through emails which is resulting in low visibility and engagement. The team saw an opportunity to create a destination within the CIBC app that houses offers. Increasing adoption of offers, growth in client engagement and overall value that clients can unlock through their products.

Clients are able to personalize their categories and notification preferences before entering the experiences.
Browsing and selecting
Clients are able to discover and explore the offer shop from the more tab on the bottom navigation.
Registering an offer
This flow allows clients to register an offer from a notification, a simple and quick way to register an offer as well as a desination for them to view their registered offers.

Upon discovering The Offer Shop on .com, clients are redirected to sign on on the CIBC app and are prompted to onboard into the The Offer Shop.

Clients can browse 3rd party card specific offers as well as CIBC specific offers within one location in the CIBC app.
